Arrival in Yerevan, transfer from airport to the hotel. City tour in Yerevan: Republic Square, Mashdots Avenue, Bagramian Avenue, the Palace of the President, the Parliament, the University, Monuments to Vardan Mamigonian, David of Sassoun, Mother Armenia, the Cascade, St. Gregory the Illuminator Mother Temple. Go to Echmiadzin, the most important holy church of the Supreme Orthodox Authority of Armenia. Visit to the 7th century churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane. Go to Zvartnots (7th century) to see the ruins of the ancient circular church. Welcome dinner in the traditional Armenian restaurant.

Yerevan - Khor Virap - Noravank - Areni - Yerevan

After breakfast Go to Khor Virap Monastery, situated in the Ararat Valley under Mount Ararat, considered holy by the Armenian people. It is the site of Armenia’s adoption of Christianity in 301 A.D. and the place where St. Gregory the Illuminator, was kept prisoner for 13 years in a deep hole in the ground (at Khor Virab) by the pagan king Trdat III. Go to Noravank Monastery. Arrival to Areni village where you’ll take a participation in wine festival. Return to Yerevan.

Tsitsernakaberd - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel and Go to Tsitsernakaberd: 1915 Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum. In the afternoon Go to the Garni Pagan Temple (1st c. B.C.) and Geghard Monastery (10th-13th) situated on a solid rock. Return to Yerevan.
